Card

Loving this card, especially the addition of the foiled red paper in my layers.  The stamp is from Verve.  The verse is Proverbs 3:5.

Note book

My Saturday evening project.  It is nice to have something to do while the hubby watches the hockey game.

I used paper from Sandylion and inked the edges.  The inner papers are simply computer printer paper.  I used a hot pink organza to bind my book after hole punching through all of the layers.  I accessorized with buttons and a name plate on the cover.

If I were giving this as a gift I could enter on the first page "for the times when you just need someone to listen".

Otherwise I could change my name plate to Prayer Journal - then they would make excellent gifts for my bible study group.

I am loving these notebooks and could see all kinds of uses.  Maybe I will need to make more!

Exploding box base

Base created but not decorated yet.  Will finish and repost at a later date.

Tri Shutter Birthday card

Again another first for me.  Received a Martha Stewart score board for Christmas and wanted to give it a run.  Paper is Grasshopper Pie from Lasting Impressions.  Stamp is a Hero Arts Cling with Spica enhancements.

Paper Bag album

Paperbag Album

Another first started over the holidays.  I used three paper bags folded and stitched together.  I hole punched the edge and added ribbon for a decorative effect as the stitching really is what holds this together.

Using the pockets on the edges that the paper bags naturally provide I madfe a variety of tags.

I really enjoyed doing this type of project.  I may work on other themes.

The sweetness after the rain

After surviving a week of sickness, specifically buckets and cleaning, we are all better and no longer needed the buckets!  YEAH!    It was time for mommy to head back to the craft table and make a gift for my DD's friend.  I left it blank on the inside so the recipient can do as she desires with it.
This was made using the QuicKutz template called peppermint, part of the Santa'a workshop set.
